Instructions:

Step #01

  • Pat the chicken dry with paper towels to remove any moisture.
  • Marinate the chicken generously with our Roasted Chicken Marinade, let the chicken marinate for a few hours or overnight in the refrigerator.

Step #02

  • Preheat your oven to the desired temperature (usually around 375-425°F or 190-220°C).
  • Place the marinated chicken on a roasting rack or in a roasting pan, breast-side up.
  • If desired, you can stuff the cavity of the chicken with aromatics like garlic cloves, onion wedges, or lemon slices for extra flavor.

Step #03

  • Place the pan in the preheated oven and roast the chicken until it reaches the desired internal temperature. The cooking time will depend on the size of the chicken but typically ranges from 60-90 minutes. To ensure the chicken is fully cooked, use a meat thermometer to check that the thickest part of the chicken (usually the thigh) reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Step #04

  • Once the chicken is cooked, carefully remove it from the oven and let it rest for about 10-15 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute and results in a juicier chicken.
  • After resting, you can carve the chicken into desired portions using a sharp knife.
  • Serve the roasted chicken with your choice of side dishes like fries, roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.
