Instructions:
Step #01
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet and stir-fry for about 1 minute until fragrant. - Add the protein of your choice (e.g., chicken, beef, shrimp, or tofu) and cook until it’s cooked through and slightly browned.
- Push the protein to one side of the skillet and add finely chopped vegetables. Stir-fry them for a few minutes until they are slightly tender.
- Push everything to the side and pour beaten eggs into the empty space. Scramble the eggs until they are cooked.
Step #02
- Add the cold cooked rice to the skillet, breaking up any clumps with a spatula. Mix everything together.
- Season with soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Stir-fry for a few more minutes until the flavors are well combined and the rice is heated through.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions.
