Nicolas Restrepo, the visionary young Peruvian chef, has always possessed an insatiable curiosity for exploring diverse culinary traditions around the globe.
After years of immersive experiences in various kitchens and gastronomic hot spots, he returned to his homeland with a vision to create his own story. Drawing from his extensive knowledge and international exposure, Nicolas introduced two unique restaurant chains to the world: Burger Box and Yopo. Burger Box became synonymous with mouthwatering hamburgers crafted with a perfect blend of quality ingredients. Meanwhile, Yopo gained fame for serving the most succulent and flavorful roasted chicken, prepared using specific Andean ingredients to tailor down the perfect recipe.
But Nicolas didn’t stop there. He wanted that exceptional taste to be furtherly shared, and thus he created for Kusi Foods three signature products: the “Roasted Chicken Marinade,” a delectable blend of spices and herbs that transformed ordinary chicken into a culinary masterpiece; the “Chulpi Corn Furikake,” a captivating seasoning mix that added a delightful crunch and umami flavor to every bite; and the “Sweet and Smoking BBQ Rub,” a tantalizing combination of smoky spices that elevates any dish with its irresistible aroma.
